Bernadett Mészáros

Bernadett Mészáros studied harpsichord at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and graduated with both an artistic and pedagogical diploma. She then went to Leipzig to expand her artistic profile by playing the harpsichord at the Hochschule Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig. She attended master classes with Malcolm Bilson, Ketil Haugsand, Gordon Murray, Jacques Ogg, Nicholas Parle, Johann Sonnleitner and Miklós Spányi.

Bernadett Mészáros has performed in concerts at home and abroad as a soloist and a chamber music partner, including in Hungary, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Poland. In addition to the present recording, she can refer to radio and CD productions with “Aura Musicale” (Budapest) under the direction of Balázs Máté, with the “camerata lipsiensis” and “Opella musica” as well as the “Ensemble 1684” (both under the direction of Gregor Meyer). In her adopted home city of Leipzig, Bernadett Mészáros teaches harpsichord and accompaniment at the “Johann Sebastian Bach” music school and can be heard here in numerous chamber and church music concerts.
